Lady Juliet Nyarko Adansi

Founder & Executive Director, JOYA Foundation

Lady Juliet Nyarko Adansi is a development practitioner and gender equality advocate with over five years of experience designing and leading youth, women and community-focused initiatives across Ghana. Her work spans project development, community engagement, policy advocacy and monitoring and evaluation, with a strong focus on girls’ education, women’s empowerment and youth leadership.

Juliet currently serves as the Ghana Programs Manager for Seeds of Fortune Inc. She has previously worked with organisations such as The Pearl Safe Haven, Girl Up (UN Foundation), Obaapa Development Foundation among others, contributing to programs that advance gender justice, learning outcomes and social protection.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Gender Equality Studies from the University of Iceland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from GIMPA.

Juliet is actively involved in global youth and gender development spaces. She is a member of the Ghana NatCom for UNESCO Youth Network, an alumna of YALI, AU CIEFFA, and the GRÓ GEST Programme at the University of Iceland, a former Youth Delegate to the Council of Europe, and currently serves as the National Coordinator for the AU CIEFFA Alumni Community of Practice in Ghana.

As Founder and Executive Director of the JOYA Foundation, Juliet leads the organisation’s strategy, programs and partnerships. She is committed to expanding opportunities for women, children and young people, and driving community-rooted development that shapes a more empowered and inclusive future for Africa.
